The Manfrotto 500X Fluid Head features an open-bridge design that provides stable and smooth performance while reducing weight. The head’s patented bridge technology enables a wider top surface and a longer sliding quick release plate, providing added stability and balance. The head features a flat base with a 3/8″-16 female mounting thread that allows compatibility with a wide range of tripods, monopods, sliders, jibs, dollies, and a variety of rigs. With its ability to support up to 11 lb, the 500X can be used with a variety of video and photo cameras and rigs. Also, a built-in bubble level and precision control handle are incorporated into the 500X’s design for greater accuracy when positioning it.
