Hot GP-ss Ballhead Tripod Heads

The Acratech GP-SS Ballhead is precision machined in the USA. It is a rugged and lightweight design that also has the ability to function as a gimbal head and it weighs only 0.85lb (.38kg). The GP-SS is a smaller version of the GP Ballhead that is designed to be used on smaller tripods. The GP-SS is also designed to be used upside down, allowing it to be used as a leveling base for stitched panoramic images. Even when using your tripod on rocky, uneven terrain, the GP-SS Ballhead allows you to pan parallel to the horizon, eliminating the need to carry a separate leveling base to create accurate panoramic images. The open structure lets moisture, dirt and debris fall through instead of being trapped inside a socket.

This ballhead includes a quick release clamp with either a double speed rubber knob or a locking lever. It also includes a large bulls eye level and detent pin.
