The Nikon MB-D14 Battery Grip is exclusively designed for the D600,  supports two types of batteries (one EN-EL15 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery  and six R6/AA-size alkaline, Ni-MH or lithium batteries) and the EH-5b  AC Adapter (with EP-5B Power Connector). Seamless switching of power  feeding between the battery of the D600 and the MB-D14 is possible when  one EN-EL15 is loaded in each of them, enabling the user to shoot  approx. twice as many images as the D600 alone. Photographers can  concentrate on shooting at their ease without worrying about battery  life. Furthermore, the MB-D14 Multi-Power Battery Pack incorporates  controls for vertical shooting; shutter-release button, shutter-release  button lock lever, AE-L/AF-L button, multi selector, and main/sub  command dials. Magnesium alloy is used for the exterior.
